In the majority of cases Difflam C Solution can be used along with other painkillers, anti-inflammatory agents and antibiotics. The products often enhance each other, producing more potent effects. To be on the safe side, however, it's always a good idea to check with a doctor or pharmacist about mixing specific medications.
Directions for Use
Difflam C Solution is used the same in all patients aged 6 and up:
Treatment should not exceed 7 consecutive days. If regular pain relief is still needed after 7 days, a doctor should be consulted.
Note that accidentally swallowing a partial or full dose on occasion is very unlikely to cause harm, but swallowing doses regularly will increase risk of side effects.
Warnings & Side effects
Many patients experience a few seconds of tingling, stinging or burning when the solution first enters the mouth. These sensations should not be severe and typically disappear within seconds, followed by rapid pain relief.
A small percentage of patients may experience an allergic reaction to Difflam C Solution. Warning signs include severe redness or itching; swelling of the tongue, lips, eyes or throat; difficulty breathing; confusion; severe pain. Allergic reactions should be considered a medical emergency.
Difflam Anti-inflammatory Solution is unlikely to cause harm to unborn or nursing babies. While no studies on the subject have been performed, pregnant and breastfeeding women have used the medication for years with no apparent negative consequences. However, checking with a doctor before starting treatment is advisable.
This product may cause a temporary discoloring of teeth. Effects will be minimized if teeth are brushed frequently, provided doing so does not cause pain.
