Medicines have benefits and some have risks. Always read the label and use only as directed. If symptoms persist or you have side effects see your health professional. Brands and generics both contain the same active ingredient(s) and are medically equivalent. Some brands are marketed under different names by the same manufacturing country depending on the country of origin.

How it Works
Difflam Sugar Free Lozenges work to quickly stop pain and reduce inflammation while helping to prevent complications resulting from bacterial or fungal infection. Each lozenge actually contains two active ingredients:
The product is so effective because the medication is applied directly to the affected area; the mouth and throat. Benzydamine hydrochloride acts as a local anesthetic, providing numbing pain relief within seconds, similar to teething or toothache gels. As inflammation is reduced pain is further alleviated and the body is better able to heal. Cetylpyridinium chloride destroys microbes that might otherwise invade swollen, vulnerable tissues.
Difflam Sugar Free Lozenges are frequently used to manage pain and inflammation from:
These convenient lozenges can be taken as-needed, are discreet and easy to use while on the go. They will not cause disruptive or potentially dangerous side effects, such as drowsiness or liver damage. Difflam Sugar Free Lozenges also have no known drug interactions---in fact they work synergistically with most other painkillers, anti-inflammatories and anti-bacterials.
How to Use
Difflam Sugar Free Lozenges are very easy to use; suck on one lozenge as needed to manage pain. In most cases one lozenge will provide relief for 2 to 3 hours, but in some cases more frequent dosing may be needed.
In general no more than 12 lozenges should be taken per day unless instructed otherwise by a doctor. Exceeding 12 lozenges may result in an increase of side effects, including dry mouth, altered taste, nausea, headache and diarrhea.
Similarly, treatment should not continue for more than 7 consecutive days. If daily pain relief is still needed after 7 days, a doctor should be consulted---it may indicate a more serious problem.
The same rapid pain and inflammation relief can be found in other Difflam products, ranging from gels to throat sprays. Be sure to check out these other options available at Kiwi Drug:
