Voltaren Emulgel is a gel for rubbing into the skin and contains
a substance called Diclofenac.
Diclofenac is one of a group of medicines called non-steroidal
anti-inflammatory analgesics (NSAID).
Voltaren Emulgel is used to relieve pain and reduce swelling in a
number of conditions affecting the joints and muscles.
Voltaren Emulgel works particularly well on inflammation of
tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints due to trauma (e.g. sports
injuries, sprains, strains and bruises), soft tissue rheumatism and
localized rheumatic conditions, e.g. bursitis.
For aches and pains, back, neck and shoulder pain. Voltaren Emulgel
is available in 50gram tubes.
The amount of Voltaren Emulgel gel needed per application will vary
depending upon the size of the painful or swollen area being
treated.
You can apply Voltaren Emulgel 2 or 3 time a day unless your doctor
advises other wise.
You may notice a slight cooling effect when you rub the gel into
the skin.
Voltaren Emulgel is suitable to be used by all age groups.
Gently rub a small amount of Voltaren Emulgel into the skin around
the swollen or painful area.
Voltaren Emulgel is for external application only and NOT to be
taken orally.
Do NOT apply Voltaren Emulgel to cuts or open wounds or any other
area where the skin is abnormal.
After applying the gel do NOT cover with bandages or sticking
plaster.
Do NOT get Voltaren Emulgel into your eyes.
If this happens wash your eyes out with clean water and seek
immediate medical advice.
If your symptoms do NOT improve within 2 weeks or they get worse
seek immediate medical advice.
Wash your hands directly after application (unless this is the
intended site to be treated).

I work at a retirement center, a womon that is a resident has a knee she has had a knee replacement on more than once. due to enjories in a car acident. It caused her extreamly sever pain that put her in bed and kept her from being moble,whitch she has a hard time due to damage to hip,leg and foot injured severly in the car reck also. She started the Voltaren gel and it worked to relieve her pain very shrortly after it was applyed. It has changed her life. She can get around and walk, even though she is disabled she has a qaulity life now . She is 60 and has a lot of life left.
this stuff is the same as a veterinary gel that costs $50 a tube in the USA! I use it on my horses for soft tissue sprains and on myself for arthritic pain.
I can't recommend this product enough! It is wonderful for aches and pains that pills can't touch. I only need to use a small amount at a time and I tell all my friends about it.
