Panadeine Extra when you need Extra Strength Pain Relief.

Use Panadeine Extra for effective, temporary relief of moderate to severe pain associated with:

Strong headache
Migraine headache
Dental surgery or toothache
Severe sore throat
Menstrual pain
Sports injuries (e.g. backaches or muscular pain)

Panadeine Extra contains the highest dose of codeine available without prescription and is designed for strong pain relief. Panadeine Extra is suitable for asthmatics sensitive to aspirin and NSAIDs. Panadeine Extra provides strong pain relief when you really need it and should only be used on those occasions when pain or headache is severe.

Caution: Do not use Panadeine Extra:

If using other medicines containing Paracetamol (Acetaminophen) or Codeine.
For children below 12 years of age.
For more than 48 hours in children aged 12 to 17 years of age, except on medical advice.
For more than a few days at a time in adults, except on medical advice.
If any seals on the Panadeine Extra package are broken.
If the package use by date of Panadeine Extra has expired.

Panadeine Extra Dosage: (Age 12 to Adult) Take TWO Panadeine Extra caplets every FOUR to SIX hours as required with a glass of water. Daily limit: Take no more than 8 Panadeine Extra caplets in a 24 hour period.

If pain persists or you exceed these doses, seek medical advice promptly.

Each Panadeine Extra caplet contains:

15mg Codeine Phosphate
500mg Paracetamol (Acetaminophen)
Potassium sorbate
No gluten, lactose or sugar
No calmatives

I have had both knees replaced, and while that has helped the bone-on-bone pain from arthritis, it has not stopped the pain in the surrounding tissue when I occasionally "overdo" activity. This product keeps me going and gives me relief in about twenty minutes.
