Cuprofen Plus
Nurofen Plus is a
dual action medicine and works both at the site of pain and also to
reduce the body’s response to pain signals.
Its formulation contains a combination of the active ingredient of
Nurofen (ibuprofen) with the
additional pain-relieving power of
codeine.

Each tablet contains Ibuprofen 200mg and Codeine phosphate 12.8mg. (Tablets also contain Microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate, pregelatinised starch, hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E171), talc).Nurofen Plus provides temporary relief of strong pain and/or inflammation associated with:
Dosage:
Adults and children over 12 years:
Initial dose: Take two tablets ( with fluid ) then one or two
tablets every four to six hours when
necessary.
Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24
hours.
Nurofen Plus is not suitable for children under 12
years of age.
If symptoms persist for more than three days consult a
doctor.This medicine can be harsh on the
stomach lining, so we recommend that it is taken with meals.

if:
If any of these side-effects occur, we recommend that you consult with your physician without delay.
Caution: This preparation is for
the relief of minor and temporary ailments and should be used
strictly as directed. Prolonged use without medical supervision
could be harmful.

Excellent product for period pain and chronic back (muscular) pain from sitting all day in front of a computer. Especially for those of us in the US who have no access to OTC codeine products, this can be a lifesaver when you need pain relief but going to a doctor isn't practical or affordable. Fast shipping (like other posters have said, average 7 days to N. America), and the staff always respond promptly and politely to any concerns you may have. They have been great with me, and patient with my many questions as a first-time customer. Their prices are higher than you will find on some other sites, but I believe the quality of the products and service, along with their professionalism and reliability make it worth the increased cost. Quite simply helpful for catching the migraine in the first stages. A MUST, and saves having to use other meds which are risk stroke plus are quite expensive! I'm so grateful to have this site! The shipping is not as long as one would think, either.
Nurofen Plus is one of the few medications that work on my adult daughter's migraines. It also works when all other pain med options have been exhausted. One dose usually keeps severe pain at bay for a full day. It is definitely worth the money.

Got my package yesterday, overall it took 11 days for my order to arrive; I live in the United States so that’s to be expected. Nurofen Plus is, by far (in my opinion, of course), the best headache reliever on the market! Nurofen Plus also works great for other aches and pains as well. To answer Bob's concern about an overseas (non New Zealand, UK [Nurofen Plus is actually made in Nottingham, England] ) pharmacy offering a codeine product with Ibuprofen with a non-narcotic pain reliever, I don't think there is one. (There are the British products Solpadeine Migraine, Cuprofen Plus, and Australian Proven Plus; all are less popular than, but have the same ingredients as, Nurofen Plus) I have inquired on visits to Canada, France, Switzerland, and Spain, all countries in which analgesics containing Codeine are available without a prescription. There are versions containing Aspirin and products containing Paracetamol (outside North America)/Acetaminophen (US and Canada); in France and Spain, one can get just Codeine tablets and combine them with plain Ibuprofen tablets to get the same effect as Nurofen Plus. However, as I mentioned in the last paragraph, I don't think there is an Ibuprofen/Codeine product available outside the UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. Cheers from New England (USA)!
Great for back pain and headaches. All you need is one maybe two and great relief is acheived for many hours. Would recommend to anyone. Wish this was sold in the states.
Re. the last post: I don't think I would take "a few" at a time! Two, okay. Three MAYBE. But not something to just "pop a few of". Although it is a relatively low-dose, codeine is a narcotic and care should be taken. Anyway, Kiwi Drug has always been absolutely outstanding from a service standpoint. I do think, however, the Nurophen price has escalated due to pending "control" issues. Oh well, glad I got two 72-packs when they were "cheap"! I do look fwd. to the new products being offered, as they require a lower # of pills to receive the required amount of narcotic pain reliever, however: I WISH THEY WOULD STILL OFFER ONE WITH IBUPROFEN AS THE NON-NARC ANALGESIC!
