Duro-Tuss Dry Cough Lozenges are full strength cough medicine in lozenge form. They are suitable for diabetics as they are sugar free and contain an antibacterial agent to give temporary relief from sore throats. These cough lozenges are alcohol free, lactose free and gluten free.

DIRECTIONS: Slowly dissolve lozenges in the mouth, one at a time.

  • Adults & Children over 12 years - 2 lozenges - Every 3 hours as required (max. 12 lozenges per day).
  • Before use, seek healthcare professional advice. Children 6-12 years - 1 lozenge - Every 3 hours as required (max. 6 lozenges per day).
  • Do not use for children under 6 years of age.
  • If symptoms persist, see you doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Do not use this medicine in children under 6 years of age. Do not use this medicine with any other medicine (including complementary medicines) used to treat common cough and cold symptoms. This medicine contains 31g isomalt per 12 lozenges (recommended daily dose). Products containing isomalt may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid Alcohol. The efficacy of an antibacterial agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if taking prescription medication before taking this product.

INGREDIENTS: Each lozenge contains - Pholcodine 5.5mg, Cetylpyridinium chloride 1.33mg. Also contains - Saccharin sodium, Isomalt.
