Bisolven Chesty Forte is a double strength cough medicine that breaks down mucus and helps clear stubborn chest congestion. It helps provide relief from colds, flu and respiratory tract infections by breaking down mucus enabling it to be coughed up easier. This product is sugar-free, alcohol-free, colour-free, gluten-free and lactose-free.
DIRECTIONS: Do not give to children under 2 years of age. Children 2-3 years: 2.5mL three times a day. Children over 3 years: 5mL three times a day. Adults: 5mL three times a day (can be increased to 10mL three times a day for the first 7 days).
PRECAUTIONS: Not to be used in children under 2 years of age. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. If you are taking prescription medication or have any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns such as liver problems, kidney problems or stomach ulcers please consult your doctor before taking this medicine. Please read enclosed leaflet before use.
INGREDIENTS: Each 5mL contains Bromhexine Hydrochloride 8mg. Also contains benzoic acid. The maximum adult daily dose of 30mL contains at least 7.5g of maltitol and up to 1.2g of sorbitol. Products containing maltitol and sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
