Be firm with your wrinkes with Eluage

The Eluage range provides your skin with an anti-ageing answer that is achieved through an innovative restructuring care that stimulates your skin's collagen and elastin production.

Active ingredients include:

Hyaluronic Acid - a major compenent of the skin that ensures suppleness and elasticity by providing skin firmness and hydration

Retinaldehyde - a well tolerated active form of vitamin A that boosts cell renewal, improves skin thickness and overall radiance

ELUAGE Concentrated Anti-ageing Gel penetrates deeply into your skin, smoothing deep wrinkles and lines away.  Use ELUAGE Gel if you are troubled with deep wrinkles, furrows and/or lines around your mouth, brows or forehead after applying ELUAGE Restrucuring Anti-ageing Cream.  Apply only a small amount of gel to problem areas.

The ELUAGE Anti-ageing Skin Care range is hypoallergenic and suits all skin-tyoes, even the most sensitive.  Do not worry if you feel a light tingling sensation during the first few applications - this means that ELUAGE is actively working to benefit your skin.

Avoid going into the sun for long hours as this will accelerate skin ageing.  Always use sun protection.

Vitamin A is not recommended during pregancy.

Avene is THE brand for sensitive skin.

Why?

  • The Avene Thermal Spring Water is an active principle of all Avene products with properties for sensitive skin
  • All raw materials are rigorously selected
  • Products are all manufactured to the strictest standards
  • Products are tested by dermatologists for effectiveness and tolerance on the most sensitive skin types
  • Hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic products formulated without alcohol or dyes, and with little or no fragrance

Avene caters to 3 levels of sensitivity:

1.      The regular sensitive skin

2.      The intolerant skin (hypersensitive)

3.      The allergic skin

 The History of Avene:

The village of AVENE is located in southern France, at the foot of the Cevennes Mountains – in the heart of the Orb valley.  In 1736 a spring was discovered in AVENE.

The spring wells up from the depths of the earth at a temperature of 25.6 degrees Celsius, to gush clear and pure at the fountainhead.  With a pH close to neutral, Avene thermal spring water is rich in silica and trace elements.

For centuries, the Thermal Spring Water has been used to treat serious skin problems such as burns, eczema, psoriasis and other conditions.

The Laboratories Dermatologiques AVENE deal with sensitive, allergic and hypersensitive skins.

The Avene Dermatological Treatment Centre is located at the Avene Thermal Spring in the South of France.  Patients can only be referred there by Doctors or Dermatologists.  The centre is dedicated entirely to dermatology.

Some of the conditions treated are:

  • Eczema
  • Atopic dermatitis in children (from age 4 – 5 months) and adults
  • Psoriasis
  • Burns and healing-related problems
  • Pruritus and prurigo
  • Ictyosis
  • Seborrheic dermatitis

Atopic dermatitis (and more generally, eczema) is the most frequent indication for the thermal cure; an average of 55 to 60% of all patients visiting the dermatological hydrotherapy centre suffer from the condition.  Two thirds of them are children younger than 15 years of age.

Psoriasis is the second most popular indication, accounting for 30% of patients taking a thermal cure.
