Zinc - provided in three forms to increase absorption. Zinc is a key ingredient for prostate health. Zinc has been shown to help reduce the size of the prostate gland and help to relieve associated symptoms. A Zinc deficiency may be a contributing factor in prostate enlargement and also can result in decreased sperm count. The main focus of the use of Zinc is for proper immune function, wound healing, sensory functions, sexual function and skin health. Deficiency of Zinc can result in: an increased susceptibility to infections, hair loss, diarrhoea, delayed sexual maturation, impotence, eye and skin conditions, loss of appetite, weight loss, delayed wound healing, taste changes, and mental lethargy.
Vitamin C - is a powerful antioxidant that supports the health of the immune system. Vitamin C may help to prevent, reduce the severity and duration of respiratory tract infections. Vitamin C may also alleviate male infertility (by improving sperm motility and quality).
Selenium - possesses antioxidant properties. Selenium may help to prevent an enlarged prostate. Selenium concentrates in the testes and Selenium deficiency may result in atrophy (shrinkage) of the testes. Vitamin B6 - an essential co-factor for the production of energy. Vitamin B6 may alleviate muscle pain, anxiety, depression and irritability.
