Saw Palmetto - has been widely used and recognised in the treatment of urinary tract problems, specifically helping to alleviate an enlarged prostate. Saw Palmetto may act directly on the prostate in cases of enlarged prostate to reduce the pain and inflammation that is associated with an enlarged prostate. Part of the beneficial effect of Saw Palmetto in the treatment of an enlarged prostate may relate to its ability to relax the smooth muscle at the bladder outlet (thereby preventing the urinary urgency and frequent urination that often occurs in those with enlarged prostate).
Epilobium - recommended to support prostate health. Epilobium may reduce inflammation and may “shrink” an enlarged prostate.
Damiana - may improve sexual desire and performance and may alleviate male impotence. Damiana is a known herbal aphrodisiac. Damiana helps boost and maintain mental and physical capacity.
Zinc - is a key ingredient for prostate health. Zinc has been shown to help reduce the size of the prostate gland and help to relieve associated symptoms.
Pumpkin Seed - may alleviate the symptoms of enlarged prostate. Pumpkin seeds may help alleviate the male dribble form of urinary incontinence.
Lycopene - may help to prevent enlarged prostate. Lycopene alleviates male infertility (it improves sperm count, sperm shape and sperm motility due to its antioxidant effects).
