Cranberry preparations are used widely to prevent, treat and reduce the recurrence of Urinary Tract Infections (UTI's). Cranberry appears to inhibit the adhesion of harmful micro-organisms to certain cells lining the urinary tract. This makes the environment a less hospitable place for E. coli and other bacteria to replicate, reducing the likelihood of infection. Cranberry helps to alleviate the pain, burning and itching associated with UTI's. Cranberry also helps to deodorize urine. Buchu, Bearberry have also been included in this formula as powerful diuretics. The diuretic effect helps to flush away the detrimental bacteria that cause UTIs. Vitamin C, Olive Leaf and Zinc work to support the health of the immune system and encourage healing.
